Do you know what it's like to be without the Internet for almost a WHOLE week??
Of course you do, if you are over three years old, you big dummy.
We didn't have Internet AT ALL!
So, what's the big deal about not having it for a week?
Well, every time I wanted to look up something, I couldn't. And I don't have a bookcase full of encyclopedias anymore.
Life on facebook went on without me. (sob).
I had 188 e-mails! Most of them junk.
I didn't blog for seven days, unless you count the one Daughter did explaining my plight.
I got more done in the mornings, which is when I usually spend an hour or so on facebook and e-mail.
But, and here's a confession for you, I really didn't miss it nearly as much as I thought I would. I missed being able to have a handy know-it-all at my fingertips, and blogging, mostly.
Facebook was easy to catch up on, I just looked at a few people's pages and figured I was good to go.
I hope some of ya'll missed my blogs.
I've been thinking of several things to blog about....and I'm sure they'll show up in the near future.

Where Do All My Great Ideas Come From?
You ask.
Let me tell you:
If you ever think about starting a blog, and need some great ideas, I know where you can get several.
Your spam folder in your e-mail.
For instance, today I got one entitled: 'Naked pictures of people you know!'
No offense to those I love, but I could not think of one single solitary person that I know, even vaguely, whom I would like to see naked.
Much less a picture. Seriously?
What are these people thinking?
They obviously don't know anybody I know, or they wouldn't even suggest such an idea.
Which shows you it's spam, for real. Claiming to know folks I know. Pffft.
The very idea.
And, speaking of ideas, see how I get my ideas for blogs from my spam folder in my e-mail?

I'm Humbled, I'm Gobsmacked, I'm...
Medicated.
After being in worse and worse pain for several days, the pain hit the hip and after doing everything I knew to do, I took a muscle relaxant in the middle of the day.
It's helped some, but I can't stand to feel all woozy and groggy and all the other dwarfs.
But I had to say thank you.
Last night when I clicked on my blog I had exactly 10,000 page views.
When I started this a little less than a year ago, I had no idea anyone would read it.
After all, my mother doesn't have the Internet.
I remember coming to this site to do my second blog and noticed I had 44 page views. I remember being shocked and very pleased.
I know a few of you who read my blog faithfully.
Some just let me know occasionally.
Some havesmarta intelligent comments when they read.
But most of you I don't know. At least I don't know you read my blog.
And I know, for sure, many of you I've never met before. Because forty-two countries have given me hits on my page.
Three or four of the countries I know are family.
Most of these countries haven't just viewed once. Many of them view all the time, most of them once in a while.
So, thanks to:
1. United States
2. United Kingdom
3. Ireland
4. Botswana
5. Venezuela
6. Russia
7. Germany
8. Ukraine
9. Sweden
10. Poland
